No, not the mosque on ground zero. The cultural centre WITH a one-room Mosque in it, alongside a gym, a swimming pool, a basketball court, an auditorium, a restaurant, a cooking school, an exhibition, a library, some art studios, childcare facilities, AND a 9/11 memorial. And all situated a couple of blocks away from ground zero. I’m sure you can agree that a stranger using a pneumatic drill on the street a couple of blocks away is very different from a stranger using a pneumatic drill in your living room.

And yes, Muslims probably say “Allahu akbar” all the time, because it means “God is greatest”. Not “Kill Conservative Americans”.

And scrapping Prop 8 wouldn’t mean forcing churches to marry gays if they didn’t want to. It would mean giving churches the option to marry gay couples.
